AIIMS MBBS

Given below are AIIMS 2017 exam dates, application form and prospectus for MBBS. All India Institute of Medical Sciences directs AIIMS MBBS Examination for the best students to gain admission into AIIMS for MBBS course. Students have to secure very high marks in this entrance test to be considered for admission. This institution of national importance is invariably judged as the benchmark for medical studies in India. The degrees and diplomas awarded by the Institute under the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Act are recognized as medical qualifications by the Indian Medical Council (IMC).
 
All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS) New Delhi conducts Entrance Examination for admission to the MBBS Course of AIIMS, New Delhi and six other AIIMS (Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Bhubaneshwar, Rishikesh and Raipur).
 
This is the toughest medical examination in the country which is seemingly impossible to clear at a single attempt. As many as lakhs of applicants appear for this exam in spite of the fact that only the best hundred students earn seats for admission in AIIMS.
 
AIIMS MBBS 2017 Eligibility:
 
Age:- Should have attained or will attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on the 31st of December of the year of admission (2017). Candidates born on or after 2nd January, 2001 are NOT eligible to apply.
 
Qualification:-

AIIMS MBBS 2016 Eligibility:- Candidates who have passed / appearing / appeared for 12th class examination or its equivalent with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology and with 60% marks  (50%  for  SC/ST  candidates) in aggregate.

General -  Rs 1000.00 + Transaction Fees (as applicable)
Other Backward Classes [OBC : Both Creamy and Non-creamy Layers] - Rs 1000.00 + Transaction Fees (as applicable)
Scheduled Caste [SC] -   Rs  800.00 + Transaction Fees (as applicable)
Scheduled Tribe [ST]  -  Rs  800.00 + Transaction Fees (as applicable)
OPH - EXEMPTED

Payment: Payment of Online Registration can only be done through online mode (i.e. debit/credit card and Net Banking).


PHOTOGRAPH

a. Recent color passport size photograph with white background is required.
b. The  dimension of  Photograph must be 3.5  x  4.5 cms. (width*height).
c. It should not be blurred while enlarging it
d. Black & White / Polaroid photographs are NOT acceptable
e. Draw a  box having size 3.5 x 4.5cms on a plain white sheet and paste the photograph inside the box and then scan the photograph on 200 dpi. Scan the area having photograph only not the whole sheet.
f. Photo should not be taken by mobile phone camera.

1. To upload "Photograph.jpg" a.“Choose file” Button right to the Photograph field
b. Select the Scanned "Photograph.jpg" file from saved location and click "Open" Button.

SIGNATURE

a.Signature should be with white background.
b. The dimension of Signature must be  6x3 cms. (width*height).
c. It should not be blurred while enlarging it.
d. Draw a box having size 6x3 cms (width*height) on a plain white sheet and put the signature inside the box and then scan the signed area on 200 dpi. Scan the area having signature only not the whole sheet.

To upload "Signature.jpg"

a.Draw a box with dimension of 6*3 cms. (widthxheight).
b. Put signature inside the box .
c.“Choose file ”Button right to the signature Impression field
d. Select  the  Scanned "Signature.jpg" file  from  saved location and click "Open" Button.

THUMB IMPRESSION

a.Thumb Impression should be with white background.
b.The dimension of Thumb Impression must be 4*3cms. (width*height)
c. It should not be blurred  while enlarging it.

To upload "Left Thumb Impression.jpg"

a.Take a good quality stamp pad.
b.Put gently your left thumb and role lightly and take a print on a white paper horizontally.
c.The lines of the finger should be clear
d.“ Choose file” Button right to the Left Thumb  Impression field.
e. Select the Scanned "Left Thumb Impression.jpg" file from  saved location and click "Open" Button.

AIIMS MBBS Syllabus

AIIMS MBBS 2017 Syllabus:
 
The general standard of the Competitive Entrance Examination will be that of 12th class under the 10+2 Scheme/Intermediate Science. No syllabus has been prescribed by the Institute for the examination.
 

Paper Pattern

AIIMS MBBS 2017 Pattern:

The Exam will be of 3½ hours duration and will have one paper consisting of 200 objective type (multiple choice and reason- assertion type) questions from subjects of  Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge.
 
Subject - Number of Questions
 
•Physics - 60 questions
•Chemistry - 60 questions
•Biology (Botany and Zoology) - 60 questions
•General Knowledge -  20 questions
 
Question paper will be provided either in English or in Hindi according to the choice marked during application. 
 
Marking Scheme:-
 
•Each incorrect response will get a score of- 1/3 (minus-one-third).
•Each correct response will get a score of 1 mark.
•No credit will be given for the questions not answered.
•More than one response will be treated as a wrong answer and negatively marked.

AIIMS MBBS Preparation

• Keep revising your basic concepts as they play a major role to solve AIIMS paper.
• Start practicing a lot of assertion-reasoning questions because they are the most important subjects which make the         difference.
• Solve previous year papers to understand the pattern and level of questions.
• Take at least 4 to 5 mock tests to build up your confidence.

as far as I know outside delhi students have to pay lump-sum 1000 Rs. The rest is sustained by government. lump sum 300 rs. by delhi domicile candidates.

no specific syllabus has been prescribed but ya basics i.e. ncert of class 11 and 12 is must with gk + practice previous year papers and mock tests as solving the questions will gonna help you. All the best.
