AIIMS MBBS

All India Institute of Medical Sciences directs AIIMS MBBS Examination for the best students to gain admission into AIIMS for MBBS course. Students have to secure very high marks in this entrance test to be considered for admission. This institution of national importance is invariably judged as the benchmark for medical studies in India. The degrees and diplomas awarded by the Institute under the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Act are recognized as medical qualifications by the Indian Medical Council (IMC).
 
All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS) New Delhi conducts Entrance Examination for admission to the MBBS Course of AIIMS, New Delhi and six other AIIMS (Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Bhubaneshwar, Rishikesh and Raipur).
 
This is the toughest medical examination in the country which is seemingly impossible to clear at a single attempt. As many as lakhs of applicants appear for this exam in spite of the fact that only the best hundred students earn seats for admission in AIIMS.
 
AIIMS MBBS 2016 Eligibility:-
 
Age:- Should have attained or will attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on the 31st of December of the year of admission (2015). Candidates born on or after 2nd January, 1999 are NOT eligible to apply.
 
Qualification:-

Should have passed the 12th Class under the 10+2 Scheme/ Senior School Certificate Examination (CBSE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.)or an equivalent Examination of a recognized University/ Board of any Indian State with ENGLISH, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY as subject.

Candidates who have appeared or are appearing at the qualifying Examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subject and expect to pass the Examination with required percentage of marks are also eligible to apply and appear in the Competitive Entrance Examination. However, their candidature will be considered only if they provide documentary evidence of having passed the qualifying Examination with the required subjects and percentage of marks.

The minimum aggregate of the marks in ENGLISH, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY obtained in the qualifying examination as in the Essential Qualification required for appearing in this examination are:

General and OBC candidates: 60 %
SC/ST/OPH Candidates: 50 %

AIIMS MBBS Syllabus

AIIMS MBBS 2016 Syllabus:-
 
The general standard of the Competitive Entrance Examination will be that of 12th class under the 10+2 Scheme/Intermediate Science. No syllabus has been prescribed by the Institute for the examination.
 

Paper Pattern

AIIMS MBBS 2016 Exam Pattern:-

The Exam will be of 3½ hours duration and will have one paper consisting of 200 objective type (multiple choice and reason- assertion type) questions from subjects of  Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge.
 
Subject - Number of Questions
 
•Physics - 60 questions
•Chemistry - 60 questions
•Biology (Botany and Zoology) - 60 questions
•General Knowledge -  20 questions
 
Question paper will be provided either in English or in Hindi according to the choice marked during application. 
 
Marking Scheme:-
 
•Each incorrect response will get a score of- 1/3 (minus-one-third).
•Each correct response will get a score of 1 mark.
•No credit will be given for the questions not answered.
•More than one response will be treated as a wrong answer and negatively marked.

AIIMS MBBS Preparation

• Keep revising your basic concepts as they play a major role to solve AIIMS paper.
• Start practicing a lot of assertion-reasoning questions because they are the most important subjects which make the         difference.
• Solve previous year papers to understand the pattern and level of questions.
• Take at least 4 to 5 mock tests to build up your confidence.

How much money i have to invest yearly for mbbs from aiims except its fees

as far as I know outside delhi students have to pay lump-sum 1000 Rs. The rest is sustained by government. lump sum 300 rs. by delhi domicile candidates.

no specific syllabus has been prescribed but ya basics i.e. ncert of class 11 and 12 is must with gk + practice previous year papers and mock tests as solving the questions will gonna help you. All the best.
