JEE Main or Joint Entrance Examination is the first part of an entrance assesment directed by the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) for admission to engineering and technology courses at NIT, IIT and centrally funded technical institutions in India. JEE 2014 Main Exam will be held on April 06, 2014 (Sunday). This exam is accepted for admission in 31 centrally funded technological institutes in India offering quality engineering education in various disciplines. Initially, admissions to all technical and engineering colleges were carried out on the basis of AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Exam). But, now JEE (Main) has been re-introduced in order for admission to NIT, IIT and engineering colleges in India.
Eligibility forJEE Main 2015
Class 12 from a recognized educational board in India or an equivalent qualification with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology/Biochemistry as core subjects with a minimum aggregate of 50 percent marks.
The age limit for candidates appearing for JEE Main exam is 17 to 25 years.

JEE MAIN Preparation
Getting admission in NITs and IIT's in India is still a dream for many aspirants. But, securing admission to one of these is not as easy as said. JEE MAIN is termed as the second toughest entrance exam in India. To crack the exam, obviously one needs dedication and loads of hard work. But, it is essential to focus hard work in the relevant direction. Stick to basic law of physics. Concentrate on each topic. Revise as much as you can. Go with only approved study materials such as prefer only NCERT textbooks. Practice plenty of sums in order to solve problems faster.
