Maharashtra B.Ed CET is the first and the best option for teaching aspirants wishing to pursue B.Ed courses in Maharashtra. Admission procedure for the stream consists of a centralized admission process (CAP) which is carried out on the basis of marks obtained in the common entrance exam and also on the general eligibility. This test is led by the Directorate of Higher Education. This exam is also important for candidates wishing to pursue B.Ed in Special Education. Graduates with a minimum aggregate of 45 percent marks can apply for Maharashtra B.Ed CET 2014 .As per government policy 40 percent of the total intake capacity of the colleges of education is reserved for backward class and other backward class category candidates.
01.Candidates who have completed three year graduation/post graduation in any faculty from a recognized university or any course which Maharashtra Government has given equivalency with graduation are eligible to apply.
02.Candidates belonging to open category who have secured minimum 50% marks and those candidate belonging to backward class (SC, ST, VJ-A, NT-B, NT-C, NT-D, OBC, SBC) who have secured minimum 45% marks are eligible to apply.
03.Candidates from universities outside Maharashtra belonging to all categories are required to secure a minimum 50% marks at their graduate or post graduate degree exam in order to be eligible for CET exam.

Reservation: As per government policy 40 percent of the total intake capacity of the colleges of education is reserved for backward class and other backward class category candidates.
Category Wise Reservation is as follows:-
• Scheduled caste and scheduled caste persons who have adopted Buddhism: 13%
• Scheduled tribe: 7%
•De-notified tribes (14 similar tribes) (VJ/DT): 3%
• Normadic tribes ( 28 tribes before January 1990 and similar tribes) (NT-1) B: 2.5%
• Normadic tribe (Dhangar and similar tribes) (NT-2) C: 3.5%
• Normadic tribe (Vanjari and similar tribes) (NT-3)D : 2%
• Other backward classes: 19%
Distribution of Seats:
Distribution of Seats is as follows
1) 70 percent quota for home universities
2) 28 percent quota for universities in Maharashtra other than home universities
3) 02 percent quota for universities other than Maharashtra.

Maharashtra B.Ed CET 2015 Online Application Procedure
Following is a simplified step wise B.Ed CET 2014-15 Online Application Procedure
STEP 01: Logon to http://oasis.mkcl.org/bed
STEP 02: Click on "Student Registration" button in order to proceed to online application.
STEP 03: Kindly fill the application form in English only.
STEP 04: Kindly give appropriate Yes or No Type answers to the questions appearing on computer. (Based on the same this system will determine your eligibility for the exam.
STEP 05: If you are eligible in the primary eligibility stage then please tick on the declaration box provided at the end of the questions.
STEP 06: After doing so the "Proceed to Registration" button will appear on the screen.
STEP 07: Press the button "Proceed to Registration" to proceed with registration process.
STEP 08: Kindly fill in relevant information asked in the online application form.
STEP 09: Make payment of application fee for Maharashtra B.Ed CET 2014. [Application fee can be paid online using (net banking/debit card/credit card) or by SBI Challan or MKCL ALC Centers]
STEP 10: You receive SMS regarding payment of fee, login and complete details of the application form.
STEP 11: After completing the application procedure check through your application details carefully.
STEP 12: Click on "Approve" button to complete registration.
STEP 13: Take printout of application form for future reference.
You are not required to send the printout of the application form to MKCL office to DHE office.

Maharashtra BEd CET Syllabus
Maharashtra BEd CET 2015 Paper Pattern:-
a) The CET will comprise of the following sections namely, Mental Ability, Teacher Aptitude and General Knowledge of 50 marks and will be of one hour duration of objective (multiple choice) questions
b) Medium of CET: Medium of CET will be Marathi/English only.
c) Along with CET, the English Language Content Test will be conducted for 50 marks for the candidates who are desirous of seeking admission in English medium colleges. Only those candidates who will secure minimum 36% marks in the ELCT will be eligible for Admission to English Medium Colleges of Education.
