Asian College of Journalism is a name that suddenly strikes to mind, when someone talks about leading journalism institutes in India. The institution was formed in the year 1994, when the Indian Express Group realized the need for building a journalism institute for the aspirants across India. In the year 2000, the college was overtaken by a renowned journalist and media entrepreneur, Sashi Kumar.
The college had a humble beginning in its first year and today, it has evolved into one of the prestigious Journalism institutes in India. The college is renowned for offering a wide range of courses that covers all most entire range of journalism study. It offers one year post graduate diploma with specialization in Television, print, Radio and new media.
Graduates in any discipline and students awaiting their degree examination results are eligible to apply for admission to the ACJ. Enrolled students should provide their degree certificate to the Registrar within the first week of commencement of classes. Students awaiting their examination results should provide their degree certificate latest by the end of February 2014.
