Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology - CEPT University in Ahmedabad is an educational institute that was established in the year 1962 by the Ahmedabad Education Society. In the year 1972, the institute realized the importance of architectural study in the society and set up the School of Planning and Technology. The school of planning was founded under the aegis of the Government of India, Government of Gujarat and Ford Foundation.

Ever since its inception, the college is known for offering quality education in the field of architecture. It offers five years full time course of B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) and two years full time program of M.Arch( Master of Architecture).
