Eligibility
Candidates applying for Bachelor of Planning should have passed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination of Gujarat State or its equivalent offered by other states including CBSE / ICSE / IB. Among other subjects, the candidates should have Mathematics (or) Business Mathematics (or) Statistics and English as their compulsory subjects and should have secured a total aggregate of at least 50 percent (45 percent in the case of SEBC/SC/ST candidates).
In addition students graduating from the 3 years Diploma (10+3) recognized by Central/State Governments would be considered eligible for admission provided the candidate passed the Diploma Examination with 50% marks in aggregate (except 45% for SEBC/SC/ST candidates) shall be eligible to apply.
Candidates awaiting HSC result may apply. Such candidates however, will have to produce a certificate from the Principal of the high school where s/he has appeared for the qualifying HSC examination. The candidate must submit the final mark sheet and satisfy the minimum requirements at the time of registration for first semester failing which admission will not be granted. Candidates who have applied for verification / reassessment of their marks must submit verification slip at the time of application and their candidature will be considered on submission of original mark sheets by 14th June, 2013 by 4.00 P.M. Failure to do so will lead to rejection of their candidature.
Applicants having equivalent qualifications other than those stated above will have to submit along with the application, an attested copy of equivalence certificate.
