  • IIT Gandhinagar currently offers four year B.Tech and M.Tech programmes in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Material Science and Engineering branches. The total number of seats is 140 (35 for each discipline). The duration of the B.Tech course is 4 years divided into eight semesters.  Admission to these course is based on JEE (advanced) score. IIT Gandhinagar offers a five week rigorous foundation programme for all freshers of JEE batch, a practise that has been continued since 2011.
