Piloo Mody College of Architecture is the one and only self financed institution in the eastern part of India. The institute is named after a renowned Indian architect and politician. It is one of the leading institutes of Architecture in India. The institute has gained huge accolades for equipping students with the thorough knowledge and skills that are required in the field of Architect. It is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela in Orissa.
Being one among the top architectural colleges in Orissa, the institute offers both under graduate and post graduate programs in Architecture i.e. B.Arch (Bachelor in Architecture) and M.Arch (Master of Architecture). The B.Arch degree is five years full time course, whereas M.Arch is two years full time course.
The admissions to the Under Graduate program are as per the rules and regulations of Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Orissa and Council of Architecture, New Delhi. The aspiring students need to clear NATA. The eligibility for the UG program is as per the norms of BPUT and COA. All the students taking admission into the Institute are registered with the BPUT.
ADMISSION CRITERIA TO B.ARCH :
Students having pass in (10+2) with 50% marks in aggregate or pass in 10+3 (any diploma) with 50% marks in aggregate and Mathematics as one of the subject. The candidates have to qualify in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA), Pune, an academic unit of the Council of Architecture.
