Vardhman Mahavir Medical College (VMMC) is a medical college that was set up in the year 2001.  The foundation stone of the medical college was laid by the then Prime Minister of India Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee on 17th December 2001. The college had its first batch of MBBS course in year 2002.Since then, the college has been on the path of success due to its excellent pedagogy in the field of medicine. It is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

The College offers a wide range of medical and para medical courses. Vardhman Mahavir Medical College is known for its excellent Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). It also provides excellent facilities for Postgraduate courses such as Doctor of Medicine in Anatomy, Anesthesiology, Biochemistry, Community Medicine, Dermatology, Forensic Medicine, General Medicine, Microbiology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pathology, Pediatrics, Pharmacology, Physiology and Master of Surgery in E.N.T, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Orthopedics.

The Admission is done on the basis of  Personal Interviews and Group Discussion which is conducted by the College.


Facilities:


The institute has its campus in New Delhi. It is attached to Safdajung hospital, which provides clinical teaching to the medical students. There is a separate library building that has a fine collection of medical books, journals and high speed internet connectivity. The faculty comprises of over 295 doctors who are highly qualified in their respective fields, possessing post-graduate qualifications.
