Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology formerly known as VESIT or V.E.S. Institute of Technology was established in the year 1984, is an engineering college affiliated with the University of Mumbai. VESIT offers bachelors programs in engineering and also offers Masters programs, Master of Engineering and Master of Computer Application.
VESIT annually organizes a technical festival called 'Praxis'.
Admissions:
Candidates can apply in the college by collecting the prospectus cum application form from the admin office.
Students will be given admission on the basis of merit marks of the entrance test conducted on the national as well as state level.
List of selected students will be displayed on the notice board in the college campus.

The College offers well equipped and modern infrastructure to both, students as well as teaching staffs. It has spacious class rooms, conference halls with highly furnished interiors. The institute also has well maintained library that has a wide variety of books on different subjects for students. There is also separate hostel facility for boys and girls.

Placements are provided to deserving students. Several National and MNC are visiting campus regularly. Recent placement statistics indicate 100% placement for engineering graduates.
The average salary of an engineering graduate is Rs.3.7 lakhs per annum and the highest salary offered at present is Rs.8.5 lakhs per annum.
