    1. The candidates must qualify in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for Engineering/ Technology.
    2. The candidates must have passed in the Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent examinations in Sciences.
    3. The candidates must secure minimum 50% marks altogether in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English & Vernacular in H.S. or equivalent examinations.
    4. The SC/ST/ OBC-A & B candidates must secure 40% marks instead of 50% marks altogether in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, & Vernacular in H.S. or equivalent examinations.
