AFCAT 2019 Online Application Form/ Registration:-


Apply online at website:- https://careerindianairforce.cdac.in or https://afcat.cdac.in from 01 DEC 2018 to 30 DEC 2018.
Aadhaar Card is mandatory for online registration. 
Upload Photo, Signature & Thumb Impression (size of each jpg/ jpeg file to be between 10 and 50 kb).
Examination fee of Rs. 250/- (non-refundable) for AFCAT entry (not applicable for NCC special entry and Meteorology) may be paid online.

AFCAT 2019 Date:-  

AFCAT 01/2019 Date (Online) - 16 February 2019 (Saturday) or 17 February 2019 (Sunday).

AFCAT 2019 Admit Card -

The eligible candidates shall be issued with an e-Admit Card three weeks before the date of the examination. The e-Admit Card will be sent to the registeredemail IDs and will be also available at the website www.careerindianairforce.cdac.in of all candidates who successfully submitted their online application.

AFCAT Syllabus

AFCAT 2019 Syllabus:-

English - Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion/Filling in of correct word, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary, Idioms and Phrases
General Awareness - History, Geography, Civics, Politics, Current Affairs, Environment, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Sports, etc
Numerical Ability - Decimal Fraction, Time and Work, Average, Profit & Loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple Interest, Time & Distance (Trains/Boats & Streams)
Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test - Verbal Skills and Spatial Ability
Standard - The standard of Numerical Ability Questions will be of Matriculation level. The standard of questions in other subjects will be of graduation level (Indian University).


Paper Pattern

AFCAT 2019 Pattern:-

It is mandatory for the candidates opting for Ground Duty (Technical) branch to appear in both AFCAT as well as Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT). 
Subject - General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test
Duration - 02 Hours
No. of Questions - 100
Marks - 300
EKT [For Ground Duty (Technical) Branch only]
Subject - Mechanical, Computer Science and Electrical & Electronics
Duration - 45 Minutes
No. of Questions - 50
Marks - 150
The Online examination will consist of objective type questions and will be in English only for both AFCAT and EKT.
Marking Scheme -
Three marks will be awarded for every correct answer
One mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer
No marks for unattempted questions
Questions will be based on the metric system of Weights & Measures wherever applicable.

AFCAT 2019 Preparation:- 

Practice solved papers that are available online and you can also buy solved papers from the market as well. During the exam solve the easy questions first so that you can find time to solve hard questions later. Try concentrating on the logics of concepts, rather memorizing the formulas and procedures. Develop your own methodologies to solve a problem.
