Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination.

There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

This is not a difficult exam but remember that you are one among a multitude of aspirants giving the test. Therefore if you wish to be selected for the job you need to be the best. For this you need to work hard and practise. Each day dedicate some time for serious study and solving of sample papers. Sample papers of previous years will help you to prepare for the exam in a better way. Since this is a computer based test it is also advisable that you customise yourself to the format by taking mock tests. There many mock tests available online. If you cannot take the test online you can download mock test papers for ibps exam. Finally and most important revise what you learn on a regular basis.
