The J & K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations conducted Common Entrance Test - JKCET for admission to B.Tech Engineering courses.
 
JKCET 2021 Eligibility :-
 
 
The Applicant must:
 
a. be a resident of J&K or Ladakh as the case may be.
 
b. have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized statutory Board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and with at least 50% marks for Open Merit Category candidates including the Children of Defence Personnel, Children of Para Military Force, Children of State Police Personnel and candidates possessing outstanding proficiency in sports and 40% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST and Other Socially and Educationally Backward classes ;
 
c. be at least 17 years old on 31stDecember of the relevant year (2021);
 
d. valid Category Certificate, if applicable
 
The candidates appearing/who have appeared in the 12thClass examination (Annual Session 2021) can also appear in the BOPEE test provisionally. However, they shall be required to produce the marks card of the said examination in support of having qualified the examination at the time of declaration of the result/counselling as may be notified by the Board.

Paper Pattern

JKCET 2021 Pattern:-

CET shall consist of Single Paper with three sections comprising of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 180 questions (60 questions from each section) with time duration of 3.00 hours. The questions shall be multiple choice objective typeswithone mark each. There will be 0.25 negative marks for each wrong answer.
