SBI Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) Recruitment 2020 -
 
SBI invited applications from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre in State Bank of India. 
 
SBI Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) 2020 Eligibility - 
 
Age Limit - Not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01.01.2020, i.e candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1992 and not later than 01.01.2000 (both days inclusive).
 
Relaxation of Upper age limit -
 
SC/ ST - 5 years
OBC - 3 years
PWD (Gen/ EWS) - 10 years
PWD (SC/ ST) - 15 years
PWD (OBC) - 13 years
 
Essential Academic Qualifications (As on 01.01.2020) -
 
Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by Central Government. Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 01.01.2020. 
 
Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 01.01.2020.

SBI Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) Recruitment 2020
 
Preliminary Examination will be conducted tentatively in the month of February/ March, 2020 and Main Examination will be conducted tentatively on 19.04.2020.
 
 
Call Letters -
 
Preliminary Examination  - The candidates should download their call letter and an "acquaint yourself booklet" by entering their registration number and password/date of birth from the Bank's website from 11.02.2020 onwards (Tentatively).
 
Main Examination - Candidates qualified for main examination would be able to download their call letter from the Bank's website (following the instructions available on the screen) from 2 nd week of April 2020 onwards (Tentatively).
 
 
 
 


SBI Clerk Syllabus

Paper Pattern

SBI Clerk Exam 2020 Pattern:-

The selection process will consist of on-line test (preliminary & main exam) and test of specified opted local language. 
 
Phase I - Preliminary Examination: Online Preliminary Exam consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1-hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows -

1. English language - 30 Qs - 30 marks - 20 min.
2. Numerical Ability - 35 Qs - 35 marks - 20 min.
3. Reasoning Ability - 35 Qs - 35 marks - 20 min.
 
Total - 100 Qs - 100 marks - 1 Hour
 
Each test will have a separate timing as mentioned above. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer. No minimum qualifying marks are prescribed for individual test OR for aggregate score. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the Bank (approximately 10 times the numbers of vacancies. subject to availability) will be shortlisted for the Main Exam from the list of all candidates arranged in descending order of aggregate marks scored.
 
Phase II - Main Examination: Structure of Online Main Exam would be as follows:

2. General English - 40 Qs - 40 marks - 35 min.

Total - 190 Qs - 200 marks - 2 Hr. 40 min.

The questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be bilingual i.e., English & Hindi. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer.

SBI Clerk 2020 Exam Preparation:
 
Preparation for the exam  should start anywhere between three months to year before the exam depending upon the type of study you follow. The best way to prepare is focus on the five segments that form a part of the examination that is English, Quantitative Apptitude, Reasoning ability,Computers and General Banking. Refering to books for subject would be of great help. There is no dearth in terms of books available for reference and study. Most of all solving questions papers of yesteryears would add completeness to preparations for the SBI Clerk Exam.
