Kendriya Vidyalaya Janakpuri opened in 1973 is one of the institutes run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan under the Ministry Of Human Resource Development.
It is a senior secondary co-educational double shift institution where about 2600 are studying in the first shift and approximately 1300 students in second shift. In the first shift it has all the streams in +2 stage, viz Science with Biology and Informatics Practice, Commerce and Humanities to mould the new and vibrant breed of nation builders of tomorrow.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Janakpuri Admissions
Admission form for any of the section will be available in the school office itself. Parents need to collect it between the registration dates decided by the school authority.
Forms should be duly filled and submitted along with the required documents before the last date of submission.
Admission is done on the basis of Interviews and written test.

The school has a huge playground, spacious classrooms, laboratories, music room, computer room and mini auditorium. Library with rich collection of books is situated inside the campus. Canteen and transportation facility is also available.
