Kendriya Vidyalaya, Laitkor Peak, AFS, Shillong was established in the year 1985 in Defence sector. The deftly constructed permanent building is sufficient to accommodate over 800 students. It has been the seat of learning for the educator and the educated alike. At present the Vidyalaya having the strength of students approx 700 with 26 Teaching & Non-Teaching staff Members. It excels in all fields and fulfills all the parameters of education.

Admission starts in the month of February every year.
