Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 (AFS) Adampur came into its existence in the year 1983 under the aegis of KendriyaVidyalayaSangathan New Delhi, which is an autonomous body formed by ministry of Education Govt. of India. It is one of the model vidyalayas specified by KV Sangathan. The vidyalaya has been marching ahead combating all challenges to cope up with the modern dynamic changing world and is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.
