Promoted in the year 1909, Sacred Heart Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Churchpark is an English medium school for girls founded by Nano Nagle.
Sacred Heart attained affiliation to the Madras University in 1952 and became a private matriculation school. In the year 1954, the first batch of Sacred Heart students appeared for the matriculation exams. It now boasts student strength of 600.
