Sainik School Bhubaneswar was started by Late Shri Biju Patnaik the then Chief Minister of Orissa on 15 Jan 1962 in an adhoc government accommodation. The School is managed by three tier system of management VIX Sainik Schools Society, Ministry Defence.

Parents can collect the registration form from the school office itself.
Dully filled form along with the documents required must be submitted in the office before the last date of the submission given by the school.
Selection is decided depending on the seats available and the merit of the students.

The School has large open spaces as well as appropriately planned building and providing ample space for outdoor as well as indoor activities. The laboratory is equipped with materials needed to help the students from concept through meaningful and relevant activities.
