Lincoln University Infrastructure:-

Lincoln University's primary campus is located on 50 hectares of land situated outside Christchurch in Lincoln Cantenbury. It remains as one of the smallest of universities in New Zealand. This is also the oldest agriculture teaching college in the southern hemisphere. The university campus provides all the necessary facilities for study, research, work and stay in a peaceful rural atmosphere.Buses run regularly from within Christchurch to the University and return.Lincoln University is surrounded by bicycle paths. There are ample bicycle stands and an undercover, lockable bicycle shed, situated beside Hudson Hall. A key for this facility is available from Lincworks.

Lincoln University Student Life and Activities:-

Lincoln University Students' Association (since 1919) also known as LUSA is the heart and soul of Lincoln University Lincoln Student Life and Activities. LUSA represents students on university policy and also provides  advocacy services to students apart from running campus events such as the annual Garden Party and O-Week.

LUSA is central in organising, supporting and funding the clubs on campus. These clubs include but are not limited to Wine Appreciation Club, LSD (Lincoln Snowboarding Department), Alpine Club, LEO (Lincoln Environmental Organisation), Food Appreciation Club, The Lincoln University Campus Choir, Bunch Rides (cycling), Lincoln University Rugby Club, Lincoln Malaysian Students Society (LMSS), International Rugby Club, UniQ (lesbian, gay and transgender students on campus), Boxing Club, Young Farmers Club, and Lincoln Christian Fellowship.

Lincoln University Rankings:-

New Zealand's specialist land-based university Lincoln University Lincoln, has been ranked both nationally and internationally on various different parameters. This university is internationally recognized for its teaching and hands-on-experience in smaller class sizes. Be it production, science, business, environmental management, technology, tourism, sport, design or property Lincoln University has won recognition in every possible category.

The just released 2014-2015 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings has seen Lincoln University jump some 70 places to now sit in the 411-420 bracket. Lincoln is one of only two New Zealand universities to experience a rise in the world rankings this year.

By some estimates, there are more than 10,000 universities around the world, with just 3,000 eligible for ranking under the QS system. Lincoln is now recognised as sitting in the top five percent of world universities and the top 14 percent of those ranked.

These rankings have also contributed to making Lincoln University Lincoln, a preferred academic destination for international students.
